Kellogg Providing Product Donations to Aid Tornado-stricken States

Kellogg is donating three truckloads of our products to help storm victims in the tornado-devastated areas of the southeastern United States.

The various cereal and snacks products will aid disaster-relief efforts in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Spearheaded by our Corporate Social Responsibility and Remarketing and Returns Management teams, the contributions are being made through our longtime charitable partner, America's Second Harvest-The Nation's Food Bank Network.

Our Tennessee distribution facilities, located in Memphis and Knoxville, and Tennessee plants, located in Memphis and Rossville, incurred no physical damage due to the storms, which tore across the five southern states last week. Likewise, our distribution center in Montgomery, Ala., received no physical damage.

Our company will continue to work with America's Second Harvest to supply additional donations, as requested.

America's Second Harvest coordinates its disaster relief efforts with both the American Red Cross as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Charitable donations to America's Second Harvest and its network of more than 200 food banks in times of crisis - such as during the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma in 2005 - support our commitment to the communities in which we live and operate.
