Just two weeks ago, Wall Street analysts reacted positively to news that our company delivered another quarter of sustainable, dependable performance.
This week, more than 80 analysts from around the country visited Battle Creek to learn more about how our company plans to continue delivering sustainable, dependable performance for the remainder of 2009, in 2010 and beyond.
"Overall, analysts were pleased with our strong third-quarter performance, and the guidance we've given for 2010," says President and CEO David Mackay. "Our Day at K conference is a perfect opportunity to provide analysts with more insight on our company - including our strategy, our team and why we're excited about the future of Kellogg."
According to John Bryant, Chief Operating and Financial Officer, "It's important to engage with our analysts regularly, as they frequently evaluate our company's performance and offer stock recommendations to potential investors and our current shareowners."
The Day at K conference began with tours of the Battle Creek plant and the newly expanded W.K. Kellogg Institute for Food and Nutrition Research, followed by dinner with Kellogg's Global Leadership Team and other senior executives.
The next day, analysts heard updates from our businesses around the world, presented by members of our Global Leadership Team. In addition to a business review, analysts also learned more about the company's nutrition, innovation and marketing initiatives. |
