"In addition to regular exercise, (which we know is good for you), make a regular habit of getting together with friends on a regular basis, also a habit of getting up in the morning with something to do for the day. Plan ahead to enjoy life, be the one who helps others and always be on the lookout for those in need." - Submitted by

"Don't sit in the house and mold into self-pity. If you don't have a circle of friends start one! Join ILR, Burnham Brook or any number of things to get out and move. Also keep your mind stimulated with word games and crossword or jigsaw puzzles. Walk for pleasure. The mall is a good place to do that for free. Be an avid reader and let your mind visualize. Above all please don't go to the "poor little me, pity party!" - Submitted by

"…stay busy with some type of a hobby such as golf or some type of sport. Go to Sunday school and other types of Church activity. Don't sit idle, get your exercise and do some walking every day." - Submitted by
