Corny™ joined the Kellogg family in 1958 but we didn't see his full body on our cereal packages until...1968!!

Cornelius the Rooster™ a.k.a. Corny™: Cornelius® was designed by Norm Houk, a Leo Burnett artist, and appeared on packages in 1958. For years, only the head, neck, and tail feathers of Corny were visible from behind a bowl of Kellogg's Corn Flakes® until a full view of the rooster's body was revealed in 1968. The rooster was retired for about a decade as people's faces dominated Kellogg's Corn Flakes® packages, though he reappeared in 1984.
