Shirley Arthur

North Augusta

"I worked in HR at the Murray Biscuit Division in Augusta, Ga. I have so many good memories during my years at Murray Biscuit.

Three of my favorite memories are of the three Safety Slogans I won. The one that made me most proud was the one judged by 4th graders. The one they choose was "Unsafe Acts will cause you and the cookie to crumble." I will enter the other slogans as I think of them. Too bad retirement comes with age when the body and mind begin to go. As Tony would say "GRRRRRR"!

My favorite cookie was/is Pecan Shortbread."

Logan Williams
Loveland, OH

"I was team leader at the cin[cinnati] bakery for 33 yrs. I helped to start rainbow chips deluxe. It was a great time in my life."

Joyce Rupp
Battle Creek, MI

"I remember all the people who help in finding the historic material collected over the years for the archives. Creating the Retention Schedules to find all the required materials that were needed to support the company and the historic materials to tell our story...what fun!

The historic marketing materials were located in the basement of the plant when the archives started and later moved to 91 bldg, then to the Consumers Energy bldg and finally to the new headquarters with new equipment to house and maintain the important data.

Every time new material was found we celebrated!"

Mike Percell

Jackson, OH

"I had set several records in the sales of one pound Zesta Saltines over the years that I worked for Keebler as a sales Rep. and District Sales Manager out of the Huntington, W.Va. District Office, but one of the most memorable sales took place at Ralph's Super Market in Parkersburg, W.Va.. I sold 5 ton of one pound Zesta Saltines in two weeks. We had a lot of fun as we unloaded several truck loads of Saltines and built the display around a display of Campbell's soup.

I also worked for Sunshine Biscuit Company four years before I worked for Keebler Company. Both were very good experiences with a lot of good memories."
