"I would like to share my memories with you as to when we started line three up at the Muncy plant. It was a nightmare at first but as we all worked together we made what it is today. We had our up and downs but as a team we made it and it was a pleasure to work with the best people in the Kellogg plant at Muncy.

It was a rewarding experience for me and it gave a chance to put four of my kids through college. My wife and I gave up a lot but it was all worth it. Again, thanks to Kellogg's for letting me be apart of their family."

H. Burke Smyth

Mountain Home, AR

"My fondest memories are of the park where the office and parking lot stand. We used to play ball, wade in the pool, [and play]tennis...there. Then the gym on 5th floor of #5 bldg. were we had Boy Scouts with Ed Belcher as Scoutmaster. We always got a treat from the kitchen that was there. I have many memories that [I] can go down memory lane with."

John Bauserman
Battle Creek, MI

"I hired on in 1958 when processing was still 6 hour shifts. The first couple weeks I worked on the first floor of #2 building mixing cocoa and sugar for Cocoa Krispies. We wore sugar bags on our feet and stood right in a big cement mortar box mixing the sugar and cocoa with a hoe. It was then shoveled back into the bags and taken to the fifth floor of #1 building to the coaters. When the shift was done your feet were brown and you blew cocoa out of your nose the rest of the day. I was on the bottom of the seniority list so it was nothing to be called three times a day to stay home or then come in as cocoa was up and down.

I worked 36 years so I had a lot of good things happen also and it was a good place to work. Clock no 777 1958-1994."

"My favorite memory while working at Keebler was working on a new product and working very hard to beat any numbers they could get on a shift I wasn't on! I also took a lot of pride in how everything looked - right down to the floors. If I wasn't working on the line, then I was cleaning up the line.
I have a lot of favorite Keebler products, but one is the pecan sandies. I love all the cookies you make! Also a big fan of any cracker Keebler makes. That's all I buy. My favorite [character] is Ernie. I miss working at Keebler, for is was a great time for me."
