"I have many memories from my days in sales with Keebler. -Selling displays large and small was indeed a pleasure. Many of the displays were large 500 to a 1000 dozen (Giant Eagle New Casle Pa). No matter how large or small they all contributed to Keebler market share and growth in the Pittsburgh Zone. When I first started with the company in the early 70s we often had 4 foot sections . Today we push 20 aisle foot in cookies/crackers alone and have an 8 foot snack cracker section. That's market growth."

"I am a retiree from the Keebler part of the Kellogg Company. I worked for them 35 years as a salesman. I recall three different times new items were introduced and made a difference in sales for the company.
  1. Coconut Chocolate Drops, Pecan Sandies and Chocolate Fudge Sandwich. They were packed 3 dozen to a case and you could display them on top of the box @ $.49 each.
  2. Cinnamon Crisp and Club Crackers
  3. Soft Batch Cookies - these really boosted the sales - you couldn't keep them on the shelf.
Keebler was a good company to work for and I enjoyed my many years with them. I wish the Kellogg Company continued success as they celebrate their 100th year."

"My husband and the love of my life was employed by Sunshine Biscuits for thirty four wonderful years. Leo passed away in June of 2000. All are years with Sunshine Biscuits were filled with fun and a good living. We are still as a family strong supporters of the Sunshine logo. It is nice to see this site, and hopefully will see other Sunshine employees send some messages. Thank you."

"I worked for Keebler, N.E. shipping in Allentown, from Aug. 1984 until my retirement in 1998. I have many good memories from there. I worked 2nd shift operating a fork lift, a job I really enjoyed doing. Management was very good to us too. I also liked when we could take some cookies home once a week. I'm retired almost 8 yrs. and I still miss the people and the job. Although Keebler is no longer in that building, when drive past I have a lot of good memories.

P.S. I was the first and only one to retire from there."
