"My favorite memories of Keebler company (other then my retirement) are the special people I got to work with on my territory. I had the fortune to have a country route and met some of the most genuine people I have ever known in my entire life. It was special to really be appreciated and have them actually beg me to sit down and enjoy a "sandwich" while they talked about the day's trials and tribulations. I was treated like a family member and will remember that till the day I can no longer remember anything else!"

William H. Griebel, Sr.
Oviedo, FL

"[I] started with sunshine biscuit 1967 and to this day I miss having the best chocolate cream cookie ever baked, the one and only HYDROX. Maybe before i pass into cookie heaven one will come my way. I did 35 years with all the changes and am grateful to have had the opportunity to end up with Keebler. I still want my HYDROX."

Carl Hanson

"I was hired in the spring of 1960 as an electrician and remember first working with John Lawson. John Barnes and Harvey Davis were our bosses. I was very impressed as to the size of the plant and how easy it was to get turned around when I was sent for parts at the stores department from the location of the old corn mill or the grain silos. John would ask me where I have been. I think he knew I would get lost and got a little kick out of my confusion.

I recall on the fourth floor of five building the company provided a cafeteria with a fantastic menu and incredible food. It was sooo good. Regular roast beef dinners and ample servings. I remember how cheerful everyone was and how they appreciated working at Kellogg's. Who wouldn't when they could enjoy the benefits Kellogg's provided.

We found it some times difficult and time consuming to work in areas that had the Plant Tours. So many people going thru the plant and how they enjoyed it. During the Christmas season Toby Tobi! as would Play the organ for the employees while they were having their lunch in the cafeteria. It was very interesting for a new employee.

There are so many wonderful memories to share and I'm sure everyone that worked there have many of their own. I can't believe anyone that worked for Kellogg's could have anything but good things to say about the company."
