New Brochure Tells Story of Kellogg's Nutrition Heritage for
Key Influencers


For more than a century our company has been a leader in health and nutrition. Today, sharing information with key stakeholders about our commitments in this area is a corporate priority.

One way we're telling our health and nutrition story is through a new brochure, "Kellogg's Nutrition Heritage."

Highlighting our continued commitment to founder W.K. Kellogg's vision of "making quality products for a healthier world," the brochure emphasizes our belief in the notion of balance - or "calories in, calories out" - and how our company helps consumers successfully manage both sides of this equation.

It outlines some of the many robust activities Kellogg is undertaking that respond directly to the World Health Organization's Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health including:
  • Launching new products and reformulating current ones

  • Practicing responsible marketing

  • Improving consumer information

  • Promoting healthy diets and physical activity
"It's fantastic to have this new, informative brochure to help share our nutrition heritage story with the key influencers we meet and engage with regularly throughout the year," says Celeste Clark, senior vice president, Global Nutrition and Corporate Affairs. "For example, I recently shared the brochure with participants at a World Health Organization meeting in Geneva."

The brochure can be used in a variety of forums to communicate with academics, opinion leaders, regulators, customers and others. It has also been provided to Kellogg nutrition and communication team members globally, arming them with examples of past and present health and nutrition initiatives. And they have the ability to customize the brochure with local market examples to meet their needs.
