Kellogg's Investor Relations team voted food industry's tops by Wall Street

It seems fitting that the week of our Annual Meeting of Shareowners and the week before our first-quarter earnings, it's announced that Kellogg's Investor Relations team has been rated No. 1 in the food industry by buy-side investors and analysts on Wall Street.

Institutional Investor magazine surveyed more than 650 buy-side investment professionals at nearly 400 institutions to create its second published rankings of "America's Best Investors Relations."

Did you know?

A buy-side investment professional is employed by an entity, such as a mutual fund, that invests on its own accounts.

Unlike that of the sell-side analysts employed by brokerage firms, research produced by buy-side analysts is usually unavailable outside of the firm that hired the analyst.

"This is a tremendous honor for our Investor Relations team and demonstrates our proactive commitment to keeping our stakeholders engaged and informed," says Joel Wittenberg, Vice President, Treasury and Investor Relations.

In addition to Joel, our Investor Relations team also includes Ellen Leithold, Manager, Investor Relations, and Jennifer Chubinski, Coordinator, Investor Relations.

The complete "America's Best Investor Relations" listing – which includes ranking from 54 industry sectors – can be found in this month's edition of Institutional Investor. The magazine previously published a "Best Investor Relations" ranking in 2006.
