Gordon Gund

Kellogg board member Gordon Gund was recently profiled in the pages of a prominent magazine on Nantucket, the Massachusetts island he calls home during the summers.

The Nantucket Today article, entitled "An Unlikely Artist," discusses Gordon's work as an amateur sculptor. Gordon, who is blind, now has a sculpture on display in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Gordon has served as a Kellogg director since 1986. He currently chairs the board's Nominating and Governance committees and also serves on the Executive, Consumer Marketing and Compensation committees.

Chief executive of Gund Investment Corp., Gordon is also chairman and co-founder of The Foundation Fighting Blindness. The Owings Mills, Md.-based organization drives research toward preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher Syndrome and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
