Annual shareowners meeting is Friday; Q1 earnings to be announced April 30

The next couple of weeks offers Kellogg shareowners two good chances to be informed about the state of Kellogg's global business.

Friday, April 24

First, there's the 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareowners, which is scheduled to take place Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium in Battle Creek.

You can tune into a live audio webcast of the Annual Meeting or check out a replay of the event. Click here for details regarding the webcast and replay options.

President and CEO David Mackay will join Chairman of the Board Jim Jenness in hosting the 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareowners on Friday. The 87th-annual event is expected to once again draw hundreds of the company's shareowners to the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium in downtown Battle Creek.

Thursday, April 30

The second opportunity to get informed takes place next week when the company announces its first-quarter financial results.

The official press release announcing the company's sales and earnings results for January, February and March will be issued Thursday, April 30, at 8 a.m. EDT. That morning, Investor Relations will host the company’s quarterly conference call/webcast with Wall Street analysts and investors – and you’re encouraged to listen in.

Scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EDT, the call will feature a comprehensive discussion of our first-quarter results from President and CEO David Mackay and Chief Financial and Operating Officer John Bryant. David and John will also take questions from the analysts and investors.

Details regarding the quarterly conference call/webcast and replay options are also available at Kellogg's Investor Relations site.
